Troubleshoot Outlook for Windows issues

This alias will be added to their account as a secondary alias, with the original 3rd party alias will continue to be set up as the primary. Select a contact or contact list to view details in the contact card on the right. You can also select multiple contacts—for example, to send an email to the selected contacts. If you can open the original Outlook Data File, you might be able to recover additional items. The Inbox Repair tool creates a backup file with the same name as the original, but with a .bak extension, and saves it in the same folder. There may be items in the backup file that you might be able to recover that the Inbox Repair tool couldn’t.
If you manually type in the secondary connected account email address in the “From” field, the email is sent as “On behalf of” your primary Outlook.com account. If you typically use an Outlook.com account for email, this issue can occur if there are multiple aliases on the account and the 3rd party email address is the primary alias. While these Microsoft accounts work in other Microsoft products (e.g. OneDrive, Windows, Xbox), they are non-functional when visiting Outlook.com.
If ScanPST determines that a specific block of the structure or table is unreadable or corrupted, ScanPST removes it. If that block was part of a specific item in Outlook, the item will be removed when it Fix Outlook Support is validated. It is located in the folder of your original Personal Folders (.pst) file. Sometimes when a user tries to search in Outlook, it either returns incomplete results, or returns nothing at all, even if you can see the email normally. After you run any troubleshooter, Get Help provides details on any findings and suggestions for possible remedies. If one of these resolves your problem, close Fix Outlook Support the app and continue working. If you can’t open Outlook, or Outlook disappears or crashes, one of your add-ins may be to blame or you may need to update Outlook. Under Calendars, My calendar is the default selection and displays the calendar in Month view.
To access the calendar shared with your Microsoft 365 for business account, you’ll need to accept Fix Outlook Support the invitation from Outlook on the web, iOS, or Android. If you’ve already clicked the Accept button in Outlook 2016, you won’t be able to re-accept the invitation from another Outlook application. The person who sent you the invitation will need to remove your permissions and then send a new invitation. You can also add the secondary connected accounts (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) in Outlook.com as additional accounts in the Outlook profile.
Unfortunately, none of these actions have resolved the problem. Other users in my company do not experience this issue, which makes me suspect that this is a user account-specific problem. Your profile stores a variety of settings that control how Outlook looks and feels. You can create a new profile and then add your email accounts to the new profile. If you try to delete or move a large number of messages at once, Outlook can appear to freeze, but really, it’s working behind the scenes.
